Rustic Artisan Bread with Tunsouk Olive Oil

(A heartwarming loaf made for dipping, drizzling, and savoring.)

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup Tunsouk Oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Extra flour for dusting

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and honey. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and Tunsouk.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. Cover and let it rise for 1-2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Shape the dough into a rustic loaf, dust with flour, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Let it cool, then slice and serve with Tunsouk for dipping.
